This year, we asked a few of our wonderful contributors to share their own family holiday traditions. Here are a few of those stories. Happy Holidays!
"During the holidays, we often travel for medical appointments, because this is when we have the most time off work. We have gone all over the country for doctor’s visits, so we have become quite the multi-tasking vacationers. These trips, though not quite for pleasure, end up feeling like a vacation. We spend time scouting out fun things to do within a 3 hour drive of our appointment, stay an extra day or two, and make the most out of it! On this particular trip we were only a few hours away from Canada, so off we went. We plan carefully, pack a cooler full of food, price line express our hotel room, which ends up costing very little, and head out in anticipation of fun, not the appointments."

"My husband is from a close-knit family of seven children. Over the years, his entire family has gathered every Christmas morning at his parents small home. Seven years ago, we moved that Christmas gathering to our home to accommodate our ever-growing family.
As a tribute to all the Christmases held at "Grand-mom" and "Grand-dad's" house, my two older children wrote a song to remember all the wonderful memories. Singing this song has become a new family tradition."
